About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer for the position of Senior Associate within our Advisory Data & Analytics team. This role requires a strong foundation in Python programming and experience in creating automation scripts, working with data transformation libraries, and developing clean, modular, object-oriented code. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating and integrating Python's extensive ecosystem to enhance our data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust Python solutions with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming, data structures, and design principles.
• Utilize Pandas and NumPy for complex data manipulation and transformation tasks.
• Design and build automation scripts and frameworks for efficient data and system workflows.
• Integrate and develop REST APIs in Python for data reporting, cataloging, and orchestration purposes.
• Operate within UNIX/Linux environments, with proficiency in shell scripting.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in Python development.
• In-depth knowledge of Python programming, including object-oriented principles and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Proven ability to create automation scripts and frameworks.
• Familiarity with REST API development in Python.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with KDB+/q, particularly with rdb, hdb, and tick data concepts.
• Understanding of high-frequency or time-series data processing.
• Ability to write clean, production-ready Python code.
• Capability to manage end-to-end automation workflows independently.
• Passion for optimizing and automating processes.
