Manager/ Senior Manager– Cloud Data Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Manager/Senior Manager – Cloud Data Architect to join our Data and Analytics Advisory team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across cloud platforms. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in data services and architecture, driving data strategy and transformation projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design comprehensive end-to-end data solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Lead data architecture initiatives ensuring they align with business objectives and cloud best practices.
• Develop and implement data strategies, architectures, and roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead complex data migration and transformation projects, including migrating data and applications to cloud data lakes or warehouses.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and highly available.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud data technologies to enhance architecture.

Requirements:

• 8-12+ years of experience in cloud data architecture and data services.
• Extensive experience with major cloud platforms' data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Strong expertise in data engineering and data processing frameworks including Spark and Delta Lake.
• Deep understanding of data architecture principles and data governance best practices.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale cloud data migration and transformation projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification(s) in Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake Advanced Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, or similar.
• Experience in designing multi-cloud data architecture.
• Familiarity with data security, compliance, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
