About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer specializing in React Native to join our Product Development team in Bangalore, Karnataka. This role involves the development of scalable, high-performance mobile applications within a cross-functional team, covering the full software development life cycle from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile UI/UX design, native module integration, and a passion for optimizing real-time IoT and energy management applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time services.
• Implement and manage communication layers using Wi-Fi, BLE, and Zigbee for device connectivity.
• Work with native modules (Android & iOS) and third-party libraries.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across devices.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new features.
• Implement security best practices to ensure application security.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards.
• Use Jira for task tracking and issue resolution.
• Write technical documentation and understand development effort and estimations.
• Ensure code quality through automated tests and static code analysis.
• Review and assist team members facing development challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience in mobile application development using React Native.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and real-time services.
• Proficient in working with native modules and third-party libraries.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization and responsiveness.
• Experience with mobile app deployment on App Store and Google Play.
• Proficient in Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of mobile security, data encryption, and secure storage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of the complete software development life cycle.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Great attention to detail and an analytical mind.
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IoT applications and real-time device connectivity.
• Experience with communication protocols like Wi-Fi, BLE, and Zigbee.
• Hands-on experience with security best practices and cybersecurity measures.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
